JMB Insurance Brokers work with a range of Uber approved insurers
Uber have launched an approved panel of insurers to streamline their insurance verification process. If you are not insured with an Uber approved company, you will be required to change insurer to continue to receive work via their platform. Please note this currently only applies in the London area.
Another benefit of having an approved insurer is that you get access to Uber’s Instadoc system. Evidence of cover is automatically uploaded from your insurer to Uber.
From your renewal date, you will need to be insured with an Uber approved insurer. If you are new to the Uber platform you will be required to show evidence of an Uber approved policy as part of the signing up process.
We are pleased to say that JMB’s carefully selected panel of insurers includes three Uber approved firms: Antilo, Mulsanne and Walsingham. If your current policy is not with one of these companies and you want to switch your insurance arrangements, please contact us.
We have been working hard behind the scenes to make the process as smooth as possible. Our insurers are keen to help and have proposed some bespoke solutions. This includes being able to provide a short period policy to replace your current cover. As an added benefit, insurers may then honour any part-earned no claims discount (subject to no claims having been made).
